What is it that makes K&C the best? (1 Viewer)

For me collecting "toy soldiers" is about history, art and a link with my childhood.
I agree with almost all the responses and would add that the "robustness" of the figures and vehicles allows a good amount of handling. I enjoy creating multiple dioramas and displays as well as just "playing" with my toys!

What makes K & C the best? Off the top of my head I'd probably just be echoing much of what has already been said, but let's give it a go: Originality, reliability, quality, a wide range of choices, personality, spirit, value in a multiplicity of ways, creativity, a company that's always trying to improve, a methodological dependable presentation, communication, a well defined vision, high standards of quality control, and an all together class organization headed up by someone who's a lot like us and keeps it fun:)!

Dear Joe:

In addition to all the other comments already made I would add that fact that K&C gives great service! Also, since circa 2003 the details on their figures including the faces are just splendid!

Dear Gary, I couldn't agree more! Their customer service is A#1, spearheaded by Patrick. I too think K & C figures have fantastic faces, and I posted a few of my favorites in the "K & C faces of war" thread. Well after I posted why I thought K & C are the lead in industry, I just kept thinking of more and more reasons. Bottom line: I can just count on getting great value and enjoyment from their product; they define consistency in so many ways. And like you said, their product support is excellent. They represent a tight ship; a successful artistic business model, and they are operated by extraordinary people who love the hobby as much as we do. They really have a fun aura about them too; a strong positive vibe, if you will. Thanks K & C!

The great availability is an important factor for me...i don't think that i'll evere re-sell what i have in my collection so..the value of the single piece is only matter of conversation with my friends..and i don't care if a figure is more or less rare ..it's beautiful for the eye ..and that is what is important for me..K&C has the best figures in the hobby.
