I would be interested in only the loose figures from the vehicle, I don't need the halftrack.

If I buy the Hanomag, I will contact you about selling you the loose figures. I actually prefer the vehicles mostly......Michael

I see that a few people have quoted the book that you originally mentioned, Oz. Sounds like a good one to pick up. I buttume it's full of color plates and all that. Is there anything like that to your knowledge for Allied tanks?

Brad, apart from books on individual tanks, the best overall allied tank book I have is: 'British and American Tanks of World War II' by Peter Chamberlain and Chris Ellis, but no color pics in it either.

'Tanks of World War Two' by Jean Restayn has some good color illustrations and is published by Histoire & Collections. H & C books have some great books on WWII with an even combination of images and text rather than pictures with captions like Schiffer etc.

Pleased to see that you understood fast why I posted my reply.

This book is surely the bible as you say and I do not deplore having buy it. It is very useful.

And tell your son that there is a big kid of 50 years old who finds that the best pc game ever made was Warcraft II (nearly followed by Starcraft). But now i am too old for online games.
