Well, since it is working, however bazaar, it is apparently a successful marketing tactic. Not much of a gun really, they could have least offered a Sig or Baretta.

I think the really bad thing about it is that is encourages people who would not buy a gun to get one. As a general rule, that means at least some of those will not be a responsible as someone who made a thoughtful decision about the purchase. To the extent it trivializes the seriousness and responsibility of owning a gun, it is quite bad. If they had required training as a condition, it would have been better but then it would not have been as successful.It really is stupid....sad really.....That sure makes our children safe doesn't it.
