Actually Warbuff brought this up first in another thread - but, I was thinking the same thing since the dispatches and Wa La..... A New Thread :D

So what would you like to have a second chance when it come to Retired King and Country Sets??

For me:

Tiger Tanks - especially the Winter Tiger SL

Collector Club Figure #1

Early AK Sets: AK23 Panzer IV and AK19 Panzer III (I would have like to bought a few when they were retailed priced !!)

Warbirds - especailly WB01 - Messerschmitt 109

WS - a few: WS41 Panzer II Set, WS 37 Krupp Truck and WS 33 Flakgun & Crew. Also WS 32 - SDFZ 231, WS 26 Panzer IV.

Well there is my sad story :( - I just came to the World War II K&C game too late for those.

I think for the good of the EA collectors, it would be nice if the Matilda came out of retirement.

For me, the sets I most wanted to come out of retirement, the wood warbirds, to a certain extent already have. Now if the ground crew and pilots would rejoin the party . . .

I would also love to see the old wood, metal and resin vehicles come out of retirement, as well as the old glossy Seaforths/Afghans/Zulus.

Individual pieces- without a doubt the Hanomag.

Linewise, I would like to see Vietnam or the SF line get kicked back up- always thought an EOD (Explosive ordinance disposal) specialist would have been a fun thing to add for the SF- Iraq line.

I'm lucky in that i grabbed the Matilda a couple of years back, however i wish i hadn't missed the Jimmy truck.I know they are still about but the price is a bit steep for me at the moement.

This is obviously a question where you don't have to worry about money

I have most of the World War II that's been put out. I'm missing a set here and there but nothing earth shattering. However, in World War II I would like to have had the chance to buy:

Fuel Bowser and Ambulance - I'd kill for those
WS 04 Tank Commanders Set, gloss or matte, I'm not proud
WS 01 and WS 02 (I only have partial sets)
WS 19 (have the others, including a resin one and WS 19 W)
The Winter (Stalingrad) version of the Tiger and Stug
Arnhem jeeps
More warbirds, of course, particularly the Horsa

Non World War II - list is too long:eek: but I'd like (all glossy):

Napoleonics
Seaforths
Presentation Box
Afghans
and so forth

I'm with you Rob. I would love to see the Jimmy come back. Also, after seeing Louis' collection, I would love to see some of the older glossy bands return.

The 88 gun (in a non-breaking version, of course...).

It was a great piece that didn't stay around long enough.

I love those bands and have three full bands, with a partial of the Gurkhas and one other.

Hey wait a second, how can a guy who carries all of K&C's products not have an 88 gun.

Just curious

OHHHHHHHHHHHH The 88mm Gun with Crew - Yes, Yes - must have that on my list too. ;)

I really wish I had bought the Matilda when I had the chance. I live in hope it will get a reissue or Honour Bound or NMA come out with one.

Morning James, i am sure one of those suppliers will produce a Matilda. The combination of the popularity of the tank and the lack of British Desert armour I think bodes well for another one sooner or later.

Rob

I have to believe that with a different repaint and stowage ,that K/C could reproduce any retired piece and have it a sales homerun. Collectors that already have, would buy to create a battery of guns or an armored patrol, and those that missed out originally, would buy ,that they not lose out again on a popular vehicle....Michael

Not being a complete and utter K&C disciple, I actually hope that NMA produce both a Mk1 & Mk2 Matilda in future - cos they'll do a fantastic job. :)
And I guess for that piece of blasphemy I'll certainly suffer the Blood Eagle next week....

You are not a K&C disciple, did you hear that everyone!!!!HE'S NOT A DISCIPLE, OUT CURSE DEMON I SAY OUT!! TO THE HANGIING TREE WITH HIM!!!!!:D:D:D

It's our goal to keep you customers happy! When we say we're sold out, it means there are none left anywhere. I simply wave good-bye!

In other words Pete ...."My collection is what I have at the moment":)
I say that all the time...

I would like to see re- releases of the 88 and crew in AK colors, more MarkIV tanks both long and short barrel and a winter tiger. Leadmen

But, But, Please M'Lud, puleeeeze have mercy on a poor sinner.......It wuz the Bank Manager. Yes, the bank Manager made me say it......He sat on my shoulder.....He had angel wings, he said "don't give in to temptation Heid", meanwhile devilish Rob was on t'other shoulder saying "Forget him Heid, buy more, buy more" as he prodded me with his pitchfork.
Actually, I'm lying as usual. The Bank Manager has just offered me a hike up on my credit card limit. Think I'll take him up on his kind offer....:D:D

Or then again, it could have been the subliminable messages on a cd I've been hunting for, for ages, and finally got my hands on yesterday - Hot Chocolates Greatest Hits. If you play it backwards on your laptop it whispers, "Buy LRDG Heid, Buy LRDG Heid, Buy LRDG Heid". This only works on the "Put Your Love In Me" track.......:):p:D:D
