What on Earth is Happening To Britain's Figure's (1 Viewer)

I agree with you fully Charlie Brown we genuine honest collector's out there buy because we like the item, figure, or set not necessarily because we want to make a fast buck $$$$ ££££ EURO etc

Mind you I suppose it is nice to know that what we have bought over the years will at least hold it's value maybe even double treble or quadruple if we are lucky should we fall on hard times.

Thank you for everyone who got back & replied to my query. I never thought that there would be so many posting comments. ^&cool

Whatever happens to the market let's all keep adding to our forces & strengthening our defences. building our Armies, Navy, Marines & Air Force & above
all carry on purchasing because it is a hobby that we all enjoy immensely & get so much pleasure from.

Buy because we like the figure, set, or Limited Edition whatever that little gem might be or indeed may become.

To ALL fellow collector's out there HAPPY COLLECTING. ! {sm3}

This year 2015 is 200th anniversary of Waterloo, and yet I haven't seen any recent production of Prussian figures from William Britains. I am sure if well marketed, collectors in the UK, Germany, and here would be scooping them up. In addition, Britains should consider more casualty figures for our dioramas.

I would be happy to see someone start a new thread asking collectors what they would like to see W.Britain make in the future. I believe the title of this one would be misleading for that purpose.
I always read these with interest and consider interesting suggestions.
All the best,
Ken Osen

Well, if WB produced everything that everybody wanted, they'd be putting out thousands of different figures every year. Sadly, most of us have to be disappointed. I'm also willing to bet that a high percentage of figures "promised" by a manufacturer never see daylight! So learn to make conversions if you don't see what you want . . . it's great fun and very rewarding.
