Plastic injection moulds are very expensive, I believe they have to be made in metal, resin might be your answer, they can be produced in rubber moulds which are markedly cheaper. Suggest you have a word with Giles Brown of Dorset Models in the UK, I think he has had experience with both mediums.

What about WW2 poles? There would be an Polish infantry, german infantry, maybe cavalry?:confused::)

For 1/32 scale figures, I would love to see more Napoleonics dealing with the minor players that have been overlooked, especially Brunswickers (I have never understood why no one has produced black horde figures). It would also be nice to see a set of American Revolution Hessians - CTS is the only company to make them in plastic, and they are lacking in detail, so we definitely need more options. The Boxer Rebellion would be a great conflict to focus on, and I think that the time has come for someone to represent the Vietnam War. Also, I think it would be cool to have a set of mercenaries outfitted with berets and various weapons (M-16s, L1A1s) representing the various 20th century bush wars.
 
In the name of christ and all his sodding angels why the hell don't you get in touch with the guys from 'plastic warrior' ?
They probably have the best idea of what plastic collectores want to see made - and please, please. No more american civil war!
 
I used to subscribe to Plastic Warrior for many years but I lost interest in it. In my opinion it is still a good read, although I think that the early 1985 - 1999 was their best period before the onset of the internet. The guy who used to edit the mag was/is very knowledgeable.

Plastic Warrior produces a great range of guides to collecting figures covering Cherilea, Charbens, Timpo solids etc.. - these are worth acquiring to reinforce your kinowledge of collecting the various makes and also to give ideas for new figures.

I voted World War 2 minor countries allthough i personally would pefer to see

1.World War 2 German Waffen SS (helmet covers, camo smocks, soft caps, collar tabs molded with runes etc), In scale with Conte.

2.World War 2 British late war infantry ( uniforms used in the italian campaign onward), In scale with Conte.

3. U.S. engineers or Paras, In scale with Conte.

4. Or, Soviet regular troops or Soviet Assault engineers with body armour, In scale with Conte.
Any of these would be excellent to see.
 
I would add German Paras, but I would buy all of the above.
I,m tired of Civil War and it looks like TSSD is got 2010 locked in for more Custer stuff.
I,m also afraid the new kid on the block, Cunnynghams, will not do WW2.
And our old friend RC seems to have vanished.
At least I got a good buddy who will do some WW2 conversions for me.

I would like to see some NICE World War I figures, French, US, Germans, Brits, Austrians/Hungarians, Russians, Ottoman Empire all in plastic. This is one area of figure making that has not been done/well done. We have the nice tanks for WWI from Steve Weston. The AIP figures lack sufficient detail and are stiff in their posing.
 
I reckon that the hat industrie sculpts would be good if they were to release some WW1, however, they are quite involved with their Napoleonic range at the current time - maybe in the future?
