What Team Is Your SuperBowl Pick And Why (1 Viewer)

We are one week away from the "Big Game". Thought it would be interesting to gauge which team will be more popular and why. My pick is Denver, Based upon Peyton Mannings experience, record setting year, and Denver's overall
strong performance this year. Obviously Seattle had a very strong year or they would not be in the final game. If Manning gets hurt during the game and misses 2 or more quarters I would say the favor shifts to Seattle ^&cool

Seattle. They have the number 1 defense and Sherman is a shut down corner. Although it won't be real cold (latest is 38), there is a 40 chance of some form of precip. That will affect Manning, not to mention the Meadowlands can get very windy. Premium may be on running and I like the Beast over Noshawn.

Not a Denver or Seattle fan but I do like Manning, so I will go with Denver even though common sense says go with the best defense in the SB. I just don't think Manning can be shut down the whole game. -- Al

I think it depends on the weather and the referees. If there is no wind and the temperature cracks 35 degrees, this favors the Broncos, if it is windy and below freezing, it favors Seattle. If the refs enforce the new B.S. rules about contact with receivers and defenseless receivers, the Broncos win going away (with probably 200 yards in penalties against the Seattle secondary, which makes illegal contact down the field and holds at the line of scrimmage on virtually every play). If the refs swallow the whistle, and let Seattle play like its 1984 rather than 2014 rules wise, Denver might not score 20 points.

I think what Brad means, is that the point spread changes when more people go for one particular team regardless of their true skill level. This point change is to entice people to go the other way so that things are more evened out to reduce loss. I like Louis's prediction. Go Denver.
