What would collectors like to see from W. Britain in the future. (1 Viewer)

I should also add to my previous suggestions, pack Horses, Mules, Donkeys and their civilian drivers, a few camp followers would be nice too, washer woman, helping carrying their husbands loads etc and maybe a tent or two.

Also I'd like to ask the question, Is the Zulu war tent Britain's do, that very much different from one that would be used in the late Napoleonic Wars ?
Steve

This would be nice also.:wink2::salute::

At the London Collector's Club event I gave a sneak peek of some of the sculpts based on Don Troiani's Bushy Run painting. These were developed in close co-operation with Don, a long time friend.
There will be three, 3 figure sets directly from Don's painting as limited editions and several more figures we designed to expand the action beyond the painting.
These will all appear in the Spring catalog and articles to explain the action will be published in The Standard at the same time.
More details as we get closer to our release...

How about some Ammunition carriers for the Artillery pieces in both Clash of Empires and Napoleonic's ranges please ? Also for the Royal Artillery Napoleonic piece how about an NCO handling the trail spike.

Will there be a background like you did on some of the ACW special sets?

Hi,
As a "Waterloo" collector I think we are very well served by Ken. I particularly like the varied poses that we are receiving on a regular basis which also makes for a more realistic dio.Ken has also taken on board the requests for casualty figures which are also flying off the production line. As far as I am concerned , just keep them coming. I'm looking forward to the promised new regiments. A "must" has to be the attack of the French Imperial guard, perhaps with the Brit 52nd LI firing into their flank? Like most collectors I love the advent of something new appearing - but I have no complaints about the way Britains are handling my particular collecting choice.
Regards,
Johnboy.

I agree with the need for some more RA gunners and NCOs for all periods. Look for some in 2016.

Following on from Scott's request on another thread for some fighting Voltiguers and Grenadiers to go with the forthcoming release of casualties of these flank companies of which I have two sets on pre-order, I like to add a request for a couple of casualties for the existing Fusiliers as at present there is only one just being wounded please. Also some similar positions to the wounded Zulu's as in the AZW range.

Also for the Naps range and also for other ranges especially AZW I'd like to see some new firing figures such as ones edging backwards and forwards at a slight crouch.

As an idea for a future Club figure, though I don't know how popular it would be, is one for a Gentleman Volunteer in one of the British Line Regiments.

Steve

So would I!....but really need a handful of Mahdist casualties first!

Jeff

There seems to be a requirement for casualties across the board - hopefully our various needs will be met sometime soon.

Yeah for sure! Some dead or crawling around 105th line would be superb additions!

A bit gruesome but what about some 105th Line infantry and Officers lying down trying to get up with slash wounds over their arms and heads? Maybe an injured drummer boy with seperate hat and drum to put on ground beside him holding his arm which has a slash mark and a rip in his jacket. After all the 105th was one of the Regiments who suffered greatly at the hands of the Union Brigade! Pieces of equipment; packs, hats, rifles etc lying around too!

How about a frenchman carrying a fellow infantryman or Officer with one arm round his back for support?

The need for dead animals is great too! Mainly horses with different coloured saddles for different sides/regiments!

Scott

Just had a cracker of an idea!

How about some Nap brit figures in hand to hand poses like deflecting cavalry saber blows with rifles and bayonets and thrusting bayonets as if a British square has been broken and british infantry are trying to push back attackers?

Even Brunswickers in these poses!

Scott
.

Bumping this thread as I expect Ken and the team at Britains would still like to see our continuing ideas and thoughts we'd like to see for future releases.

So to add to the ideas I like to see some British Guardsmen standing at port arms and make ready since at Waterloo instead of the usual two ranks in line the British employed often four ranks as it was easier to form Square and stood a better chance in itself of fending off a Cavalry attack.

Also I'd like to see the other Battalions colours from this Guards Regiment both of them being present at Waterloo.

I am still after ACW limbers and would add to the list Confederate camp scenes (same theme as the Federal ones you have done), Confederate hospital scenes (same as the Federal ones), release of the Devil's Den terrain to the general collectors. Saw some civilians coming, Federal mounted officer, mounted orderly and accessories. Great stuff and would like to see more of it coming. Would like to see the Confederate counterparts to the orderly and mounted officer. More buildings would be nice. Would like to see additional accessories or battle field clutter (hats, canteens, haversacks, cartridge boxes, etc.). Noticed that the newer figures could be used in both the East and the West. Would appreciate the continuation of this. Maybe one Cleburne flag carrier? Would like to see the continuation of the ACW civilians. They look great. I will stop here, don't want to get too greedy. Did I mention limbers? Chris

Been waiting for a long time now for the next release of vikings and saxons. Lets get the new release's first before talking about what's in the future. Regards Sapper.

Definitely a limber.....with standing horses and both Union and Confederate handlers.
These would complete the wonderful artillery sets.

For the AWI series.....a Hessian regiment, mounted British and American officers and an American artillery set.

Yes, I'd be very happy to add these to my collection ........ Also ''nysoldiers'' suggestion for an AWI Hessian regiment would be something I would want to purchase.

As to the Clash of Empires range i would like to see some French whether it is regulars, militia or colonial marines. And of course more British and Indians!^&grin .

Stick to late 44-early 1945. Add some British/Canadian/Poles. Also some heavy weapons support for US and Germans - MG teams, mortars.

With the appearance ACW civilians , maybe it is time for foreign military observers . Either in uniform or mufti

Perhaps I am being just a tad presumptuous here but any chance in my lifetime
(quickly fading)of W.Britains bestowing us(OK...me)with a METAL WW2
Jap grunt?
Many moons ago I had a discussion about same at a Chicago show.
The conflict was deemed"too brutal" to enshrine in metal.
Fancy that.
My uncle probably came to that same conclusion just before
'buying the farm' 1/25/45 Luzon, P.I..
