Yep another Public Holiday in China / Hong Kong tomorrow so we'll have to wait until Wednesday I guess.

I think the 1st set of Long Tan Aussies are going to be released, other than that
hoping for a few more Marines Pacific and VN. Who knows, maybe we'll see the VN 105mm

I’m still picking up the new Napoleonic Redcoats one or two a month which are great.

My wish list would include a couple each of Napoleonic French Volitigeurs and Line Infantry casualties......and some climbing/carrying ladders to get over the walls into the courtyard would be brilliant.

Depending on the company, the holidays are between 3 and 7 days.

Plus I think we can give the K & C team a bit of a break as the Chicago show was not very long ago and that must take a lot of times and resources.

Email in from K&C last night stated

"K&C’s OFFICE & RETAIL SHOP in Hong Kong will be closed on 1 October for public holiday. Operation will be resumed on 2 October.

OCTOBER'S DISPATCHES will be announced on 4 October. "

Roll on Friday .... more NAPs I hope ???

John

Two more USMC WWII Pacific figures were seen at the show.

Fingers, arms, eyes and legs crossed that they will be released soon.

Cheers for update John. I saw that the shop was closed until tomorrow. item about dispatches coming Friday is new. Still wishful thinking can be in suspense for an extra couple of days with no damage to the wallet done !

Hopefully we will see the Battle of the Bulge M36 Jackson and the new American figures. I think there are some other D-Day French Commandos.

Would be nice to see some new Napoleonic figures, always a great range, have around 80% of the K & C releases, but unfortunately no room to display. Think we will see some more WW2 US Marines and Vietnam releases.

We have not had a plane for a while, I maybe mistaken but think the last one was the fantastic ME109. A new plane would be good, as would a new building, brilliant if it was a European one for the Ardennes.

Plus there has to be some Germans, would not be release day without Germans and it must have been 2 months since we have had a Tiger 1, so maybe one of them....hahaha...just to confirm I am joking in the final sentence.

Ladies and Gentlemen of the Forum,
Please allow me as a retired “semi-skilled” intelligence officer to make the observation, that somehow Andy Neilson currently may not have at the top of his priority list whether the “October Dispatches” are published on schedule. As a matter of fact it is highly likely that his immediate, as well as short and long “challenges” may well exceed those of Ken Osen’s with a certain model of a German 88mm gun. Just a passing thought, if you catch my drift.

Agree, his commute to the HK shop maybe a 'lively'. Ken's challenge is to release anything.

It means K&C is going to release a new German 88mm gun ?

Really feel for the people of Hong Kong at this time of uncertainty.
On my hit list....
Market Garden
Ancient Egypt
Light Horse
Aussie's in Vietnam
Pacific Marines

All of these series have new sculpts in the pipeline so it's just a matter of being patient and wondering where our Australian Dollar is going against the Green Back in the meantime.

Wish list.......
Remaining figures from the Home Guard
Mounted Roman
Anything Life of Jesus

Always look forward to the monthly release to fuel my passion for this hobby.

Robin.

I should be receiving the Arnhem commanders set soon. I have the original one too. Should make quite a contrast.
