What's going on with Collector's Showcase? (1 Viewer)

I don't think there has ever been this much time between releases. I sure hope they haven't closed shop, but it looks that way.

He was at the Chicago show and I just received a catalog on the mail recently.
Seemed to be sop .

I think the concern of the thread poster was when new products will be announced / Released. No doubt the company is fully up and running. :wink2:

More will be revealed. Stay interesting my friends.....{eek3}

Has anyone noticed that the range is not as good as earlier figures, smaller, smaller bases and the last 3 romans that cam out
well not very impressed, I think they may have new makers in China, hopefully will go back to the way earlier ACE and Napoleonic were large bases, well painted.

The new product questions got Brian's attention! A new and very nice M4A3E8 was just announced with many features i.e. thrown track and sandbag armor.

[CS has some great items but need to get better quality for example the bases are small and thin, and seem to be getting smaller
When you look at Thomus Gunn for $10 more the quality is far greater, CS needs to adapt and change

or it will disappear like conte

The Holiday 2016 Catalog shows several new products and a new line The Modern Warefare; US Marines. A new Sherman Easy 8 with sandbags. A new Wild West 1/6 figure of the Man With no Name from A Fist Full of Dollars et. al. I think those constitute new products from a viable Toy Soldier manufacturer. I do not see how thin bases are a quality issue. I prefer thin bases to thick bases, less to bury in a diorama and a more reasonable figure height IMO. I like the fact that TSC produces a catalog, it gives a nice history of the companys products.
