It's been quite awhile since there has been any Civil War (other than that sole flag bearer). When will we see more Civil War Matt?

I hope we haven't seen the last of the range.

Brad

Brad, I did notice the additional "Flag-Bearer" release for this particular Civil War range....First Legion made a VERY GOOD decision to release another flag bearer in this range as this allows collectors to continue purchase more figures within the range and thus complete their collections....It also prevents a line of figures from comming to a DEAD-END at the hands of hoarders/speculators who purchase key figures in a series only to price gouge collectors latter on......WELL DONE and THANK YOU.. FIRST LEGION :salute::.....This is a release philosophy that I hope we shall continue to see for other ranges such as the NAPS and WWII AFV's.

Last of the range?!? We're just getting started Brad. We will have a release probably mid-summer we project. I think the issue is that we have a lot of ranges to support these days and thus releases sort of get spaced out a bit between them now for just about every range except Napoleonics and ranges like WWII where we can release a few figures here and there if we want because of the more individual nature of modern combat. Fear not though, ACW is alive and well and we have several things in the pipeline. Almost forgot, we are releasing the 2nd Standard Bearer for the Iron Brigade as well, and that one sooner than later as it's a figure we should have produced with the original release.

Best,

Matt

I would hope that you're just getting started Matt and I understand that you have many ranges to which you need to allocate production capacity but I believe that it was almost a year ago when the 2nd Wisconsin came out and since then only the flagbearer and Lee and Longstreet have been released. So of course, we've wondered about the long range health of the range.

I'm glad to hear that we will see something in the near future and that you've allayed concerns.

Can you give us any hints at forthcoming releases.

Thanks.

Brad

As a fellow ACW First Legion collector I don't think we have to worry about the range dying away. I mean they are some excellent figures! I remember when the range was first released Matt said that he hoped this would become their second "flagship" range with Napoleonics being their flagship range already. Not sure if he still has that in mind or not, but I can't see the range going away. Also just a recommendation, I would love to see some foot personalities of Lee, Longstreet and all the gang. The horse back ones are great but are a little $$$$ for just one figure...at least for me.

I d like to see a figure of Beauregard or Jefferson Davis or Joseph E. Johnston,or Morgan never made before....While Lee or Longstreet have already been made in all sauces by manufacturers :p

I don't think you'll see those in the immediate future as the Civil War range is concentrating on Gettysburg.

However, AeroArt did make a figure of Johnston, which I happen to have.

I second the request for unmounted versions of Gettysburg personalities because of cost. It can get very pricey for those of us into a lot of FL ranges. I think Union infantry in kepis would be a great next choice. Glad to hear of another Iron Brigade Flagbearer. Would you consider other flagbearers from the brigade in the future?

I would like to see a mounted George Custer leading the charge of Michigan Wolverines on the East Cavalry Field.

I hate to be a pain about this Matt but where are we with new releases? If there is to be a mid summer release shouldn't those have been announced by now. Moreover, where is the second standard bearer?

I know you have a lot of ranges but I fear some ranges are getting neglected. I thought you had said this was to be a flagship range. The time to make hay would have been during the 150th anniversary, which has now come and gone.

As they say Matt, the squeaky wheel gets the grease and I will be making a lot of squeaks :wink2:

I would really like to see figures for Admiral David Farragut (US) and Admiral Franklin Buchanan (CS). I have only seen one representation of Farragut and none of Franklin. I would also like to see a depiction of the Hunley.
On the land side of the conflict, I would like a figure of Braxton Bragg

There has hardly been any releases from any of the ranges lately. Wonder what's going on...
