No idea. It would be nice to be offered something unusual but strongly suspect it'll be the usual suspects. I'm personally hoping it'll be a sherman. If so, then I'd most likely go for it. I'd spec it to resemble a tank in a movie you don't particularly care too much for.

:D:D It was very polite of you to not mention the title H!

I too would like to see something different for a change. They could really surprise us with something like an M7 Priest or a Matilda or any number of British Tanks. It just needs that one step to release something different and catch us all unawares!.

Harry, I am with you, crew and all!!!!! Moriarty.....

Rob, it will become the centerpiece of my collection!!

Guys,

Hello Ana:

I can't wait to see them! Will it be released similarly to the Tiger? Meaning we will all have several different camo versions to choose from with accessory options to boot? Also, will you be releasing new figure sets to accompany the Strumtiger? I hope so.

I'm also very much looking forward to July to see the Sherman because the possibilities are endless with all of the variations (Dozer, Firefly, Calliope, etc.) used in WWII ETO, N. Africa, "Lend-Lease" Russians (Eastern Front) and my favorite the Pacific.

Yes, I mentioned the Pacific because the Sherman was truly a killer tank in that theater of operations and supported the US Army and the Marines. Since HB's armor releases are custom works of art now, you aren't relegated to mass productions as in the past.

I remain excited about future WWII HB releases and wish much success and prosperity to you Ana and the Boys.

Whilst a North Africa version would be my choice a Pacific version would be very interesting.Has anyone made a pacific Sherman yet?.

Back in the North Africa theatre, with HB's customising service imagine the possibillities for dio's!

i wonder if there will be a destroyed sherman available, maybe at half price?

it will complement my Gold Tiger well.:p

Great news. I remember this from the discussion about the NMA version: "n January 1945, a single round from a PzStuMrKp 1001 Sturmtiger reportedly destroyed three American M-4 Sherman tanks located in a targeted village." Also seem to recall that they were used in Berlin (might be mistaken about that). A Warsaw uprising version would be a nice choice. Only 18 were made so that should limit the choices a bit.

Youtube has has a rare film of a Sturmtiger in action, slowed down so you can actually see the projectile leaving the vehicle.Just search Sturmtiger rare film.

Great news Ana,

This is truly a fascinating piece and I will definitely be getting one. Depending on which one of the 18 machines HB chooses to model there are a number of wild paint schemes for these brutes

For those interested there is a Trojca book on Sturmtigers and Sturmpanzers:

For the Sherman, can you be more specific about which model HB will be doing?

Thanks
Frank

I believe the ones used against the Warsaw uprising were sent there directly from the factory for testing. Considering the subject matter I will be avoiding this operation. For me it will be either Battle of the Bulge (7 of them took part) or western Germany "Defense of the Reich". I don't believe they were present in Berlin.

Thank you, Carlos. Yes, the Sturtiger comes with the Tiger I format, meaning that you'll be able to order in any camo, with a combo of accessories. There are no new crews though, but I believe we'll be using some of the older crews, or even some of the Tiger figures. The boyz are painting a few in different camos so we can have a base of choices from the beginning. But, as with the Tiger, we'll customize them as their owners' preferences and instructions.

I'm not sure about the Sherman model. I'll ask and will let you all know.

Thanks for the link, Frank.
