What's so great about the Chicago show? (1 Viewer)

It is great! The level of stuff there, the people, the sheer number of dealers. I mean we are really close to Chicago. They have the best beef goodies too! I mean there is White Castle, Buona Beef! Yum, Yum! Pastrami dogs to die for!
Did I mention all of the people I got to meet last year?. Yippeeeeeee

I had sliders for last night. We refer to White Castle's hamburgers as Sliders. Nothing can beat sliders at 2 in the morning. Buena Beef is great and one is about 5 minutes from my house.

Chicago has great food and is great place to visit. Although my vote may be slanted, I grew up in Chicago and I work just off North Michigan Ave.

I am saving up for the OSTN, I plan on going to the show on all four days. I am new to the forums and hopefully I will get to meet some of the other forum members at the show.

When I lived in Texas, there was a great fast food chain called "What-A-Burger". They made your burger fresh to order with whatever you wanted on it. Also they made shakes and malts fresh and in any size up to 32 or 44 ounces I think. But what I really miss about Texas fast food is Wafflehouse . . .

The Westcoaster is the only show that I've been able to attend. Why do people say the Chicago show is the best? I hear it's bigger, but how? No matter what show you attend, aren't you going to see everything that's available if not from the manufacturers themselves, from the dealers. If I'm only interested in K&C, Figarti and the St. Petersburg Collection am I really missing out on anything by not attending the Chicago show?

It’s the wonderful Toy Soldier Collectors, Dealers and Manufacturers you meet and socialize with. Not being able travel any more sucks.
