Guys...

With all the talk of the Battle of the Bulge I thought it would be interesting to find out who like what and why?

From the releases to date I have to say these are mine. The realism of the US troops is remarkable I can almost feel how cold they are and, the Dietrich figure just screams arrogant SS officer from dress to pose.

What are yours?
Mitch

I'd agree with the Hetzer as well though I think at the price points they are listed at, the Winter subset Germans in the WS line are pretty nice too- 2 guys for $45- still s steal!!

I agree-WS 80 gepard Flakpanzer is a brilliant item (with 4 figures !)
Best BBA for me: 004 friend or foe-so realistic,so typical scene for the "Operation Greif"
Best BBG for me:BBG003 German tank riders - I have several of them and I am happy to put them on any winter tank to make them even better (these riders also look fantastic imo on TCS, HB or even Figarti winter tanks)

My two favourite sets

For me it's close between the Hummel and the King Tiger. Too tough to choose between them.
As for figures I really like the US "returning patrol" - 3 cold looking soldiers and a captured German. Awesome set.

Im not sure the number but I think it's BBA001 or BBA02 its a kneeling firing rifleman, radioman, pointing rifleman and an NCO with a tommy gun. One of my favorite sets K&C has ever produced. Although I havn't gotten it yet, the new set of kneeling firing soldiers (one with M1, one with BAR) is also awesome.

Yeah those two new guys don't mess around!

price of deception was always a favorite, right down to the priest with the bible.

I prefer the Normandy battle, but this series has some of the best sculpts. My favorite figures are the bazooka team and the standing soldier firing the Thompson mg.

For me it's one of the easiest...BBA004 Friend or Foe
For me it is definitively
The walking wounded
the Steyr 1500 Funkkraftwagen and the M10 tank destroyer
I think the new releases from nov and dec will join the list nl: the Dodge ambulace (winter)+ strecher bearers and the " Cold feet warm boots"
guy:)

Some great sets mentioned here and totally forgot about friend or foe. Thanks for posting
Mitch

I was fortunate enough to get the first 4 BBA sets when they came out and although the painting dosn't quite equal later BBA releases, they are pretty special. The sculpting is excellent, and the jeep is a unique piece and story.

I also love the xmas santa jeep and usually get that out for display around this time every year! (along with the xmas truce set and now the new Kaiser set). They are the only sets the missus allows in the lounge too. Special dispensation as they are christmas-themed!

As for BB Germans, I think the Crossing the Road set is hard to beat.

I can feel the Band of Brothers box set coming out soon......

Friend or Foe is my favorite Battle of Bulge set with a honerable mention to the Xmas Santa Jeep just put mine out 2day :)

I like the first set: BBA01 - Poses are really dramatic and real, and I also like machine gun moving up the line, 'Jes mak sure he's dead', and mine laying surprise!

Great question. The BBA line is probably my favorite from K&C.

The best in my opinion would be BBA006 "Returning Patrol".

Excellent dio looks really good and another great set of figures
Mitch

Excellent scene Duke, looks very cold there!.

Another wonderful set is the recent field gun, am looking to add the extra crew set in London in a few weeks, it will then be ready to add to a dio thats forming in my brain.
