Hello,

So, what is everyone's favorite figure? I know this can be a difficult decision, but there must be one figure that stands out as your favorite. So, if you have the time or desire to photograph or describe your figure and why it's your favorite, I for one would be very interested.

Here is my favorite soldier. It is one of Mignot's large flag bearers that was made in the late 50's-60's. He is an eagle bearer of the Grenadiers de la Garde Imperial. This figure was my first Mignot that I found in a flea market in Manhattan when I was a child. This one figure propelled me into a life long quest for these French made military wonders.

Let's hear about your favorite figure!

Cheers,

Cole Jones

Hello Cole:

That is a nice figure and has a great history behind him. The Lt recently started a thread like this for the KC WW2 collectors- it is roughly the 4th or 5th one down. I have my "top 5" WW2 figs there.

I have 3 Britains Deetail mounted knight figures that survived numerous castle sieges from my childhood that are still with me. I also have a "kupie" style Vatican guard that I bought when I went to the Vatican during the Christmas season 1980. I guess, he would actually be my oldest toy soldier.

My favorite figure is the Marx 60mm pioneer firing the pistol, the revised pose.

Favorite figure? It's more like a set of figures. Here you see the pilots from the First of the Few Set and the ground crew, with a K & C Spit in the background.

The second picture is the K & C Captain Clark Gable figure.

I also love the K & C Camel Corps and you see pictures of the two that I have. I picked up the one on the right at Valley Forge on Friday. That made the whole show worth it.

By the way, in the last photo, you can see some of the K & C Seaforths and some of the recent WW I soldiers.

My favorite figure may very well be the new K&C army photographer. When I saw that at the Symposium, it blew me away. As of right now, however, its the Clark Gable figure depicted in Brad's post.

My favorite figure at the moment is the Conte Sarge pose. Matter of fact, all 27 of the new GI poses.Mike:)

I have two one the Conte "Lee Indomitable" and K and C "Drummer Boys"

Most of my stuff is new or rather post 80ies.

My favorite figure is Pvt. A. Nielson from the BOB series. I set him up with his seabag in front of my collection at the end of each month and throw my empty wallet at the figure till he goes down. This happens twelve times a year. Leadmen:cool: :p :D
