Agree it is disappointing that there were no new FIW figures as well as no Wars of the Roses, Napoleon in Spain or Jacobite releases.
The FIW was JJD's "bread and butter" for many years but now, coinciding with the 100th Anniversary, WWI has dominated his releases.
If the sales are there for WWI then his business decision is sensible for the present market. For the longer term, however, I think he needs to keep
his base of FIW collectors satisfied with more "action" releases on a timely basis. He can also communicate better his intentions on other series so his customers
remain patient and keeping some portion of their funds for future buys. Tell us that more FIW, Jacobites, Napoleon's Spanish campaign, etc. will be forthcoming.
Remember that John is a "one man" operation and his talents and time go towards sculpting and watching over the production. It is amazing that the output he
achieves on a monthly basis is possible and hopefully he will get back to pleasing a larger segment of his customers.
More Roger's Rangers in action would be welcome!
