If I voted in this poll, it would have to be St. Elsewhere which does not say much.

I have already noticed collectors in this forum from other countries:
Slovenia, Belgium, France, Spain, they probably haven't yet bumped into this poll:D

:D:D:D i am from Slovenia! Is anyone else from Slovenia?
I was here before with a nickname Ales30 or something like that but i forgot the password so now i change my nickname. Is anyone else from my country?

I'm from Italy..i live in the deep south ,Calabria region, Reggio Calabria province (n our region we have a town called Badolato !) but i'm from Locri, one of the most ancient cities of all Italy, our region is also called Magna Grecia because was founded by greeks from the Locride Region in north Greece, we are more ancient than Rome itself with which we were in War (we were allied with Pyrrhus )but lost...(sorry for the historical digression) ..btw i was born in Trieste, near Slovenija.

That is the town my family originally hailed from, hence my name. It was a Norman stronghold from the time of the Norman conquest of the "Kingdom of the Two Sicilies", which, apart from my small amount of Scottish blood, provides an alternate explanation for my very pale skin and blue eyes.

The claim to fame for the area is the "Reggio Bronzes", two ancient Greek bronze statues of warriors in nearly perfect condition recovered from a shipwreck in the 1970's. They are considered by sculpture fans like myself to be among the best ancient greek bronzes still in existence.

Yes Louis..you are right!!! Riace (the town where the bronzes were recovered) is 4 towns more to the north from Locri..many here have your last name!!!The people here bears a great resemblance to the greek type more than the italian,eh eh many greek profiles here! But when i've seen your pic on Collector Magazine i've instantly recognized you as one of our own..:)

Hey Neighbours :D:D:D Yes in Trieste is a lot of Slovenian people(Trieste is a town that my country is very political attach too, because some of the people in my country say that Trieste is a Slovenian town,....well who cares about politics:)
Now i will go to learn an Italian language.I think it is very good language and i will explore more of the language. For now i know onl ythis"Ciao bella ragazza","Spaghety Bolognese","Pizza","Grazzie","Aqua",...not much but it help me when i travel to Italy(Gardaland,Venezia,San Remo,....)

I'm from Florida, but get most of my stuff from up north. The state has a few soldier shops but they are all mainly high-end (everything metal and painted, with little to no plastics) and most brick-and-mortar hobby shops have disappeared. I've always felt there are very few collectors down here.

I'm sort of surprised there aren't more Canadians. (Maybe they just don't do polls like this?)

Eh eh Ales , we in Italy say the same of many town in Slovenia (Istria,Fiume..ops Rijeka!,and others ,even the famous Kobarid - Caporetto, are you from those places?)and Croatia, but we are all part of Europe so i presume it's not very important anymore! My father was officer in the Guardia di Finanza (the guys in grey uniform that watch the border) in the 50's and served on the border with Yugoslavia, well those were times more difficult..we' re lucky to live in such times..Saluti..:)

I noticed that there is no one from France either. I was born in France and moved to the US 18 years ago but just become a US citizen 3 months ago, so I cast my answer in the USA bucket...

I come from the American Colony of England, the island outpost of Obama, once part of Great Britain now full of people with shattered dreams ,no future and a failed socialist system.A political system thats the clubhouse of the elite and where the taxpayer pays the bills for their Castles, moats and Mistresses.A once proud country who allows its soldiers to die thru poor equipment and denies the wounded survivors a decent life out of the services.God i love my country.

Haere Mai all you whetus!

A New Zealander living in Australia, The Great Sunburnt Land..!! Count myself fortunate to be a part of both.
