Big weekend for war movie buffs. TMC, Encore, and AMC were all running round the clock war movies. I kept skipping from one channel to the next. Best thing is I don't think any of the shows were duplicated by the channels. -- Al

I've had them on all weekend! Watching "Where Eagles Dare" right now too. Takes me back to memories of watching them when I was little with school being out for the holiday.

Always a great weekend for war movies. :smile2: I even watch movies I have on DVD. Chris

One of my favorites, Kelly's Heroes, is on next! ^&grin Chris

Agree one of the best war films going. Robin.

Great dio there! I also have the K&C set of "Where Eagles Dare" as well as the "Kelly's Heroes" set (which is one of my favorite classic war movies).

I remember when you first posted that remarkable dio thread Robin. An amazing recreation of movie scenes. Chris

Watching movies on tv that I already have on dvd is something I have a bad habit of doing, all the time. Can't explain it. ^&grin -- Al

Yeah, they do the same thing, same movies every Memorial Day. Then repeat for Veterans Days. Although some
of the movies have been remastered in high def they continue to show the old SD. Barely watchable.

I enjoy when they do this. Hadn't watched The Longest Day or A Bridge Too Far for the longest time and enjoyed seeing them again.
