I get on my email what are the new releases and there was million of new stuff, even some new series,...but still no Wild west.WHY?
It look like that this year will be no wild west:mad::mad::mad::mad:

When you say 'Wild West' do you mean a whole new series or additions to K&C's 'The real West'?.Because if you are talking of a new series I can't imagine K&C would do another West series having only recently launched the other one.

As for reinforcements for the current Real West range,I'd imagine there would be more next year perhaps?.

yes i am talking about The Real west serie.I do not understand why they make so slow new figures for this serie.Come on,hurry up!!!
I wish to start to collect this serie but i wannt to see the future plans, what will come next,...because what can i do with 5 indians and 3 cavalry?
And they do all kind of crap with this holly familly serie and now a new serie with the English troops(why if WBritain have all nice covered this range),....everything but wild west ups real west. They start something and now they wait and wait,...i am a WBritain fan and also a First Legion fan and i was hoping to become a K&C fan but this kind of stuff turn me off

A tiny bit of advice Ales,if you want to persuade Andy to make something, calling his other stuff 'Crap' is not the way to go about it!;):D

Rob

A little patience, I also want new soldiers and indians, including a wooden fort:eek::eek::eek:

Yes, agreed. That is not the way to win friends and influence people.

well how many of you will buy Holly familly?
I really do not see the point of this serie.Who will buy this?
If they count on new people i can tell you that new people will not buy this because they already have plastic ones,or paper ones, traditional ones,...than there is also not a lot of religius people, who will buy this muslims,hindus,taoist,jews,....?
Do you think any serious collector who collect Napoleonics,Zulus,Samurais,WW2,...will buy this?
Come on,this is no future in this serie, and what they can make more? They already make Holly familly, three wise man,camels,...this is it,serie finished haha, there is no upgrade,so this serie is already finished. But with Real west they can make lots and lots of new figures, fort Laramie,.....

Ales,

I think there will be many people who will buy this series. I don't believe King & Country is interested in only selling the Life of Jesus range to toy soldier collectors but is hoping to sell to different kinds of people. I think this range will have a lot of appeal and will be very successful for King & Country, who have also indicated that most of the proceeds will be donated to charity.

I guess the thing to do would be buy the book for a few clues as to what other items are possible. I have heard it is a best seller.

Ales,

I think you have missed what both Brad and Rob have been trying to tell you.

You cannot dismiss some of K&C's new releases as "crap" just because the sets you want have not been made.

Please heed the advice of Brad and Rob before you bury yourself.

Raymond.

Ales, what I was trying to say that even if you don't like something,by calling it 'Crap' there is every chance the producer of the product will not listen to a word you say.

For instance I don't collect LAH for my own reasons, however I would not insult Andy or the collectors of it by calling it Crap.No I won't be collecting the life of Jesus as my collecting interests are mainly WW2.But as Brad said there will be non TS collectors who will.I know it can be frustrating waiting for your own range to be made,I could hardly wait for Arnhem, but insulting product and collectors won't make it happen faster.

Hi Guys,

Re our Slovenian friend’s plaintif cry for more of the “Real West”… There is a second release of “Real West” coming in the first quarter of 2010.

Might I also humbly suggest he invests in a copy of “How to Win Friends and Influence People”…I think it’s still available on Amazon.com.

Best wishes and happy collecting!
Andy C.

Great Style by Andy as always..what i can say..?If one enter in something new for him he should do it with the due respect,in my opinion, when i entered in this forum i didn't understand or like the glossy figures but hey, then i fell in love! For the Durbar was the same (even if i can't afford most of the pieces )..and after all i found this hobby is full of terrific guys from the side of the collectors and the producers (but i think for the most part the 2 sides coincide!)..in what other fields or business you can talk directly to the producer? And gettin a kind answer too?I found that people like Andy or Ken Osen (and others) are always there to share some view with you..and if you don't like their products you can say this to them, but you must do it with the due respect because is their work we are talkin' about..hope i haven't offended anyone.

We are an international forum with members of all age ranges..I try to be a little more tolerant of some posts, where English does not seem to be the first language or I might be dealing with a " yute " ( Joe Pesci from My Cousin Vinny ):D Michael

Judge Haller asked what is a "yute"?.....And Cousin Vinny told him.

Thanks, Raymond.
