Where's the Stuka??? (1 Viewer)

Graeme,

Manufacturers don't often say what they're going to do for fear they may give a competitive advantage to the other companies. I would say that K & C, Figarti and John Jenkins are no different in this regard.

I have also heard rumors that Jenkins will unveil theirs in London but, as Mitch says, rumors are rumors.

If you like the Figarti Stuka, I would order it, but it's not due to hit the US until late April. However, by the time it does hit the London Show will have taken place so you will know what Jenkins' Stuka may look like and when they may be released. The only risk is that the Figarti Stuka may have been sold out by then (only 100 made, as per usual practice). On the other hand Jenkins doesn't tend to produce in limited qualities so you could wait. In addition, sometimes Figarti items do and don't sell out immediately. Another factor (and this may be unimportant to you) is that Jenkins WW II airplanes are made of mostly polystone whereas Figarti uses different substances, polyurethane, and is a company that focuses on producing highly engineered models. I frankly don't like polystone airplanes but to each their own.

Just some things to consider to help you make your decision.

Would be nice to see K&C make a BOB version witch would go well with the big range of figures

I would really like either a B-1 from Poland or a B-2 from the Battle of Britain. To me, those are the iconic versions of the Stuka. I'll wait and see what everyone else puts out.

I would definately think that one of the manufacturers will do a BOB variant or, similar style. JJD has already done the ME109 for the west so, logic seems to say one will accompany that aircraft

I agree with you. Scenes of the Stuka making dive bombing runs in Poland for me is one of the symbolic impressions of the start of WWII.
