W Britain seems to have stopped producing new WWII sets and looks looks like they are putting the whole series away for good! Thats not good, because I mainly collect WWII sets from Britains. What new WWII sets would you like to W Britain produce?

Welcome on Board.

There have been several recommendations for Britains to consider the Pacific or the war in the East. WW2 is just so dominate right now that I would think it might not be a half bad idea for Britains to tackle some of their more traditional lines and firm up that market share.

I would love them to do a Market Garden range :)

I think Chris is probably on point. WW II seems so competitive that maybe the'd like to lay low for awhile and concentrate on building their strengths before fully tackling this range.

Hi There!
We have been pretty busy as those of you who follow the progress of W.Britain under 1st Gear already know. The mix of products that we develop is diverse and as a result we need enough dwell time at point of purchase to get feed back. Some lines need our immediate attention to secure our place in the market. Others need thought and time to make good use of the feedback from our customers.
So the 64 dollar question is... Will there be more 1/32nd scale WWII from 1st Gear/W.Britain?
The answer...Yes
When?...Soon!

I hope Britains will consider the Far East Campaign with some Japanese, Brits, Gurkhas, Indians and Anzacs in our future. It would make a nice balance to all the European Theater items on the market.

It's all fine with me Randy and love seeing what they are doing but never and once again never forget to keep the Zulu War alive and well with more new goodies.....:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:DThe Lt.

I 'm with you Col. Hesler, I collected the ONWTC and Britians WWII when Ken Osen was sculpting for both companies. The sets were very compatible and well done. I'm hoping Britains or ONWTC (with Ken Osen sculpting) will produce some WWII Russian sets.

That's good news as it seems K & C have forgotten about 'Classic Gray' Germans in WWII. Apparently you now have to be wearing SS camo gear to get in the K & C German WWII range

I recently bought the Britains set of two wounded Germans that I have put in with the Honour Bound Foodline set and they match up well together :D

I think Britains should go ahead and make some new sets because like some of you said, K & C doesn't make everything.

While on the subject of Russian WW2 is Stalingrad still on the books or is the battle lost there?

some 101st and 82nd Airborne sets would be spectacular.;) Cannons and heavy guns like a flak 18 or 75mm howitzers would be nice.

I have an idea for you Ken. How about a Rosie the Riveter for the Petticoat Series? If you make her I get one because it was my idea:p You could have her holding some tools. That way we could use her in some sort of scene.

I am not sure that Rosie the riverter had much use for petticoats.
Regards
Damian the rivet counter

Yeah but Rosie is an Icon and known around the world. How many guys and women would buy one. Multiple collector fronts.
