Most of the TS manufacturers love to give a winter figure a white winter jacket or suit. It is a misbelieve to think that there was a lot of white around during the winter battles ( ej: BOB) Most of the pictures one can find prove my point . So my question is : What do you prefer for winter figures , White, Grey or Camo. Love to read your answers.
I add a few pics to support my theory
guy:)

Grey is predominant in the for Army units. That should work fine. Perhaps for some, you could drape white sheets over for camoflage and warmth. The specialized units you could use camoflage with the same affects. In the Russian theater you could have figures with appropriated russian winter outfits, clothes from home, and mismatched to stay warm. What about a set of sleds and vehicles being pulled by a Tiger in the snow steppes? Lots a bundled figures there.

I prefer winter ie white as (a) There are also plenty of pics showing Germans in their winter version of their camouflage uniforms during the Ardennes (b) winter is good for the Eastern front.

For Russia I agree (from winter 42-43 onwards)
For the Bulge: In all my photographic doc about the Bulge ( more than a 1000 pics) I only found 1 picture with a German in winter camo !!
if you have any original photographic material about Germans in white winter camo in the Bulge , please share it with( me) us (no re-enactment pics please)

The white is fine for Russia , but not before winter 1942- 1943. And white is the most limiting colour - it pretty much says winter, Eastern Front, 1943-1944. So while a few figures in white are ok for me, I prefer grey or camo with grey ahead of camo for preference.

This is the infantry equivalent to the philosophical question "why are so many Tigers made when they were such a small percentage of the tank force?"

Soon to be joined with the Luftwaffes how many stuka's??

I agree I like some winter camo but, would like to see more camo or grey uniforms or trenchcoats than white suits.
