I'm curious to know what are the prospects for Civil War range (and I'm not referring to the Mass Battle alternative as many of those releases are lesser priced alternatives of already issued figures) as it's been a very long time since we have seen any new releases, other than a flag bearer or two.

Actually we released the ACW Confederate Artillery about a year ago and as you have pointed out, we did release the MB figures. While not what you wanted per se, they are an ACW release. And, you'll be happy to hear that we have another ACW release planned pretty soon. Given the number of ranges we have, the ACW range gets decent coverage. It could be worse, you could collect Samurai. :smile2:

Thanks for the response Matt. However, what I had in mind was the release of a set of figures as in a regiment, not the MBs or the occasional figure release (although I do have to give you credit for the artillery release). The last release of a set of figures was probably two years ago.

At any rate I do look forward to the forthcoming release.

And you will soon get what you are asking for, a regimental type release. :salute::

I have my fingers crossed it is the Pennsylvania Bucktails! (13th PA reserves!)

Since we've had two Confederate and two Union regiments, I'm guessing it will be a Reb one.

I've been wondering when a new release would be coming along as well and not a mass battle type, but a real release of the high-end type. I've almost completed the Iron Brigade and had two more arrive today in the mail. I remember Matt stating when they started this range they wanted it to be a kind of "second flagship" type like their Napoleon range. I wonder if that's still what they have in mind...

Gebs, I sold off a few pieces and still have many for sale. What I've come to realize is that you don't need to collect everything in a range. I'm looking forward to picking up some of the new ones when they come out.

Those would be nice, but my preference would be the 14th Brooklyn/84th NY........imagine those uniforms done the First Legion way, they'd really pop...........

I doubt that. 😄

In the last month it's been not enough ACW or Winged Hussars and too many French working girls, so I'm sure you'll find something!!! 😄😄😄

Now that you mention the Winged Hussar.....^&grin

I tell you what we really need is the First Corps mounted flag-bearer ‎to go along with General Reynolds. I say that because I'm almost done with collecting the Iron Brigade as I only need three more infantry. I just received Reynolds in the mail over the weekend and he looks great leading my Iron Brigade. Any thoughts?

Very true about the 14th. They would be awesome! But my heart says Bucktails :)
