This is a "who am I" post. Other than the fact that this was made in England and "is not a toy for children" :rolleyes: , I know nothing about him. Just liked it. Do you know what he is?

I don't think I've ever seen a figure like it, and I can't say if it's old or a new "classic" toy soldier. It's a great figure!

Prost!

I am not sure, but it definitely looks to be on the newer side. Not saying brand new, but doesn't seem to be of the period the golfer is, that's for sure

Wait, now that this sunk in....did I just stump Brad! {sm3}

The only thing I can say is that I might have seen something like it in "Toy Soldier & Model Figure", but yep, I've never seen this one. Of course, there is a lot I have seen. You never stop learning ;) I'm eager to hear what our other Treefrog Irregulars have to say about it.

Prost!

Think it is produced by Tommy Atkins. One of a series of golfing figures. Trooper

Right you are, Trooper, right you are! The series is "Yesteryear's Golfing Figures" by Tommy Atkins. Interestingly, I can't find them on the Tommy Atkins website, but they are shown at Fusilier's site, in their Tommy Atkins section:

http://www.fusilier-miniatures.com/torder_cat.asp?lsSelect=YESTERYEARS+GOLFING+FIGURES&butSubmit=Go

I thought I had seen it somewhere, but I couldn't place it. It must have been while browsing Fusilier's site.

Great puzzle, Zach, prosit!

Just saw this one, but yes Atkins is the correct id!

Nice figure
Tom

They also make a few go fishing vignettes.
