Was wondering if there was a place to see all the sculptors who sculpt for conte,WBritain,K&C and so on and so forth thanks
I don't think there is one particular place where you will find that information. I don't know of anyone who has ever attempted to collect it. You'd have to contact the individual manufacturers, and ask in forums.
Some sculptors become better-known over time, once they establish a body of work. I think of Bill Imrie, Clyde Risley, Russell Gammage (Rose), Charles Stadden, Tim Richards, just to name a few off the top of my head. All of them had their own lines at one time, though Richards also sculpted for different companies, such as Phoenix Model Developments.
John Scheid is another one who comes to mind. He was a contemporary of Imrie, Risley, and Stadden, and he had his own brand. Today, the molds are with London Bridge.
Malcolm Dawson is another sculptor who sculpted for various brands. He also sculpted figures for Franklin Mint.
Those are names I can think of, and they're just sculptors who worked exclusively or primarily in white metal, from the 50s through the 90s, in the English-speaking world. Now think of all of the Europeans, and sculptors working in Asia, and there are probably a couple hundred people, at least, who could populate such a list, if you undertook to compile one.
Prost!
