I can ID the obvious ones.

Bernie Schwartz aka Tony Curtis

On the tip of my tongue, but can't place him.

Can't place him, either.

Paul Newman

Is that Brando?

Cesar Romero

Lee Marvin

Burgess Meredith

Gene Kelly

You should have put up Ed McMahon and Bob Keeshan, too. I bet they'd be tough to identify, as younger men serving.

Prost!

Ah, OK, we posted at the same time, and I missed this second page.

Jimmy Stewart

Jackie Cooper (of course, it'd be easy, anyway, since he autographed that photo)

Not sure, but that looks like E. G. Marshall

Tyrone Power, I believe

Bronson

Harry Belafonte

Prost!

I took a longer second look at this one, and I think this is Alan Ladd:

Douglas Fairbanks, can't see his mustache in the picture though.

Gents,

Brando was in a Military school when he was a teenager.

Anyone know this one...the guy in the middle?

Interesting story. He was expelled, then re-admitted. And an old football injury he incurred at that school made him 4-F when he tried to enlist in the army.

Did someone remove the link for the image, from the original post and from my reply? If so, would you mind adding a comment when you do this, just I don't think I'm losing my mind? Something like, "Sorry, this is a copyrighted image," etc, etc.

Prost!

Ah, OK, I never would have gotten it. It's funny, for as many old movies as I watch, I have never seen a single thing he was in.

Prost!

Brad,

If your post was edited it would say and by whom even if no note was made as to why (see your post directly above as I fixed your quote)...........so I think in this case you may be losing it LOL

When I came back to the thread this afternoon, the image of Alan Ladd was missing from the lineup, and from my reply. In the original post, there was a space between the photo of Tony Curtis and Douglas Fairbanks, three rows high. That made me wonder if the image had been removed. But it may have been an issue with the attachment and our web filter. It's showing up now.
