I bought this today at the Woburn, MA show. I keep a spread sheet of all of my pieces and although I should know, I don't....

What kind of soldiers are these? The year on the nameplate on the piece says 1808 - if that helps.

Thanks
Zach

Now that I look at it, that is one crummy photo. If you can't see them well enough to tell, let me know and I'll take some new ones.
Thanks

These are 95th riflemen in the Penninsular Campaign in Spain. It looks like they are attempting to embark and join the British fleet as they run from the French. This is probably during the Battle of Corunna.

Actually the photo is pretty good, but can you tell us any more about them?
Is it a "home-made" piece; can't quite make out the size (scale); resin or metal?

Real nice find! --- Larry

thanks for posting that info. I honestly didn't know what kit it was as I bought it at a show already put together and painted.
Mine was done by Nader Taheri of Beverly, Massachusetts

"Running from the French"?
{eek3}

They look like they are retreating in good order to fight another day to me........:wink2:^&grin

If it's 1808 it could also be the the battle of the River Plate, Argentina. 2nd Battalion of the 95th were there.
