So guys, who else is getting this superb new release from K&C?. Its another fine example of their North Africa range and a must for anyone collecting this range. The Splinter camo works very nicely on it and it will go very nicely next to the Matilda,Chevy etc. For me this is another example why K&C are top of the pile and I think this is going to sell very well.

Rob-

this vehicle is another example of KC creative mis-licensing!!:mad: No way was this vehicle supporting UK forces in Basra in 2004!!

whoops!! wait a mo...wrong conflict, sorry guys...:eek::p:D:D

I actually think the Grant looks better. Hope both land in your collection real soon. Still, seems a winner though.

Cheers mate

I like this AC a lot. I do not do NAfrica WW2 so I will wait to see if KC offers a WW1 color scheme for this piece. A WW1 scheme could be almost any theater, Westfront, Mid-East, and I think this AC was used in the Russian area of ops, too. -- Al

????? You are saying if this AC was refit/tooled for WW1 then it would work on the eastern front??? Am I reading that correctly?? Your not saying this AC fought against the Jerry's on the Eastern Front WW2 are you??

The new armoured car will go nicely with this classic K&C Matilda

Fine with me Brad, just getting some positive chat going.

I think the splinter camo with that blue is awesome and this will go very nicely with the matilda.

I think the African theatre is becoming one of the best ranges that K&C is doing IMO

No to Eastern Front WW2, Chris, at least not that I'm aware of. I believe that the Royal Navy had an armored car unit on the East front, with the Tsar's armies. Don't know the particular's (unit or numbers, exact location), but I'm sure they were there. Also the AC's could have taken part in the intervention, either under Allied or Russian control. Need to investigate further. -- Al

Rob mate,
You just have to love this little beauty. Great camo. It will go well with my Matildas and Desert Vickers replacing the Dingo which will go into later Western Desert Dio with the Crusaders, Grants and Bren Carriers.
Have 3 Grants and 2 AC on order. Bring on more of the EA range.:D:D
Then on to TOBRUK and then more TOBRUK.:)
Cheers Howard

There were definitely AC units in the Russian Army in WW1 and in use during the intervention and Russian Civil War. There were Fiats, Austins, Garfords, and Lanchesters present for sure. -- Al

Can anyone help with the unit markings - I know the 11 Hussars had them on the 'wire' in 1940, but does the roundel mean it is RAF regiment, maybe in Iraq 1941?

Whatever, another great piece:)

Good question. I was assuming that it was 11th Hussar also. Somehow, I can't imagine it would be anything but at the wire.
