Not to talk out of school or present incorrect facts, but as I understand it, Rick sold the company to a person who worked for him, I think he was a sculptor/designer and for whatever reason, things have not progressed with him as the owner.

Again, as I understood it, I believe that Rick had other business interests that took up a lot of his time, so he made a decision to sell the company.

If this is not correct, then I am sorry but again, this is my understanding.

As you said, I am not an insider and I do not have verifiable information, but I have heard the same things from people who knew/interacted with Rick and the new Figarti.

It is unclear what the new owners are doing, or they are only focused on the market in China/Asia and we are not getting much info or product.

Rick leased the company to them. Whether that just included the name or the equipment or anything else, I do not know. Rick owned the factory where the items were produced but he sold the factory.

At any rate, in 2019 or early 2020, he took back the lease. There was a belief that he was going to come to Chicago in 2020 with one or more shock and awe pieces. However, such plans, if any, have been postponed due to the pandemic.

I trust what Brad has said, he has been with Rick.. I had the opportunity to meet Rick (great man).. But because I was still working, was not able to.. Miss all the Shock and Awe pieces, hopefully it will come to fruition.

Didn’t someone have a few one offs for lack of better word made recently?
I seem to recall a special camo panther.

At the 2019 Show there was a rumor going around about Rick returning and subsequently he confirmed that he had terminated the lease. Unfortunately, I can no longer find the emails. I discussed this with the late Terry Strom (Phantom Warrior) but can’t find those emails either.

I did not know of Terry?? I enjoyed him on the forum as he was a good Mate...wow..😢

.. I am sorry to hear about Terry's passing, I believe we joined the forum at the same month, I looked forward to reading his posts, I worked as a Care giver at a Senior Home after my Mom passed away, and have seen what Parkinson's does to the person physically, and the frustrations that happens to the person.. Alzheimer's the person is not aware, of what is happening. Most of the time..But with Parkinson's ... I am sorry for the Great Loss..
