I assume that was at the meet and greet at The Hobby Bunker correct? Glad you were able to see it in person, I hope to see it this Sunday at Hackensack as John will be there, chances are it will be on Tony's tables from The Toy Soldier Gallery up at West Point as Tony was if I am not mistaken either the first or one of the first JJD dealers in the US...................
Yes, it was the HB meet and greet. I have to say I really enjoyed meeting John in the more relaxed atmosphere of a store versus a show, with all its attendant madness. Walt an I had a very nice chat with John and learned a lot about production, his sculpting and painting and his future series ideas. You can't do that with 50 people buzzing around at a show. John also opined that he likes the "shops tour" because he sees a slightly different audience than at shows. You can find Walt's pictures on another thread here. I think you will be highly impressed when you see this series. I'm in and will be getting them when they are released.
