Makes you wonder, with the Covid 19 issues and the way China has been towards the west and now destroying Hong Kong freedom, will our favourite
toy soldier makers re think of making the products in China.

I am assuming most are made in Hong Kong perhaps made in the mainland also

The unknown ?

I wish the best for them, and hope they keep safe. I feel grateful that I don’t have make these tough decisions. Although things are getting rough in America.

Change is here, and it appears that free speech is being replaced by intolerant propaganda, demonizing opposing opinions and totalitarianism making a comeback.

Remember the last time this happened early in 20[SUP]th[/SUP] century…Yeah, I’m probably exaggerating….

Stay safe Andy and John,

Carlos

This applies to FL, BR, TG, JJ and K&C.

I would think highly unlikely they would cease production in China. I remember a thread a few years ago that may have been about a K&C price increase. Moving production elsewhere to save on cost was raised by some forum members. Andy replied then that it was not practical even if could find a work force in another country.

In the case of Andy and John Hong Kong is their home where they have lived for a considerable time. Andy has been there since 1977.

This subject was raised recently in relation to K Mart in Australia where most of their products are made in China. I have no idea what their plans are but the reality is their products sell well because they are cheap.

I love Hong Kong and it has been my home for 43 years … I have no plans to leave or relocate.
As for Covid 19... We have had a total of 6 deaths and little or no new infections for several straight weeks...And this in one of the most congested cities on the planet!
When I look around the world Hong Kong is still a far better choice than most of the alternatives...for many different reasons.
thanks for asking though,
Andy.

Great to hear Andy.:salute::

Its been concerning viewing seeing what's occurring in HK over the past 48hrs and what new laws have been rolled out and enforced.

Lets hope things settle down there soon.

Cheers Toddy
