Do the plane collectors here think John will ever release a P 38?

Don't know as it would be a big sucker. I'd be in on a plane from the 475th FG, preferably McGuire but Bong or MacDonald would do. -- Al

Yes, I'd love to see a P-38. Would be a BIG model.
Although the way JJD puts these into boxes with removable parts, they may be able to economize very well. Wings off, two levels of foam with parts?

I know everyone will want Bong, or McQuire, or the other top aces.
But for pilot story, mission story, and P-38 lore, I'd love to see Rex Barber's P-38.

Not very showy as to colors and markings. drab paint scheme, plain markings.
but the historical aspect and if done well, would be a real coveted item on my shelf.

But, I'd still buy one of the top ace P38's too!!
Where's that Grumman Hellcat???

A P-38 would be awesome and no doubt John would do a good job with it. As for a desired paint scheme, I’d like the P-38 "California Cutie" from the 55th Fighter Squadron, 20th Fighter Group, flown by Lt. Richard O. Loehnert in the ETO circa June 6,1944. I’ve got a giant 1/18th scale model of the same plane and always liked the striking scheme… Plus, I’m from California 😉
