Some of the mounties are made by a Canadian company called Spirit of the Empire. The flag bearer is one of their figures. Thanks: Leadmen

Excellent RCMP collection John.

I don't have any Britains mounties in my collection. The WB mounties are very popular and are quickly snapped up on eBay for silly money.

I googled them and it takes me to a canadian website but I don't think they carry them anymore.

Leadmen thanks for the photos. D'Artagnan is a shop not too far from where I live ( half an hour by car). Their prices on glossy figures a pretty good.

Hi John,
thanks for all the RCMP photos. Those are great looking figures and you have assembled quite a collection of them. I am always surprised by the variety of your collection. The other day I was thinking about manufacturers who do glossy FIW figures, and came up only with Britains and Tommy Atkins. Then I thought that you probably have a lot more then that, like painted figures from kits.
I believe you had them posted a while ago but it wouldn't hurt to see them again ;) :) if you have the time.

I was down at the store (d'Artagnan) a few days ago and all the foot Mountie figures were on sale for $13 CDN + tax which is about 13%. That means about $15 CDN per figure . It can't get much cheaper than that. I think they're selling off most of their glossy figures. What they sell at full price are K & C, Jenkins, Frontline and maybe a few others.

Did you paint those John? If you did, hats off to you. They look really nice.:)

I did not paint the top row of figures. They are Armies of the World and a Britain's Blackhawk figure. Another Britain's Blackhawk figure in the bottom row. Special figures by Britains at the time . All the other figures I painted including two plastic. One is Barzo- Indian rifle across waist and Indian with redcoat. John
