I dont think we need to many ME262's repainted. But night fighter version yes.

To be a night fighter it will need to be a two seater ,I know there was a single seater night fighter but it was not a full blown mark version
The reason I asked is there been two version of the Spitfire so far

I would imagine its going to be more likely to see a nightfighter with single seat than a new two seater. Are you thinking more along the lines of say a new pilot version say Novotny et al?
I get confused when new versions are mentioned as I don't really count a repaint or a remarked set as a new version per se its still the Mark I spit a new version to me would be an upgraded version.
