Another of my dios. I hope I'm not wasting space and everyone's time on this forum by posting these dios. It's fun for me and gives me an excuse to get out some of my older stuff again.

Really well done! Don't be shy or afraid to show what you have done, it gives other collectors ideas and shares your collection with everyone.

Excellent dio, very nice indeed.Keep em coming!

Rob

No i would never get bored at looking at collections & dio's either. Nice job.

I personally think one of the nicest sets is the WS070, looks great in a large dio or a smaller individual one...Sammy

very nice dio,is it just me or is the driver of the tiger 10 feet tall ?or is the tiger the wrong scale, even all the other figures look like very tall germans.Tiger crews were normally of small to average size, this guy could never drive a tiger with 4 other crew members, the tunisian tiger looks more to scale to my eyes .

I have that model and the figures are the correct size. The man in the drivers hatch is so far in front of the turret the photo is misleading. Here is a photo showing a different perspective.

This is still one of my very favourite K&C vehicles and in my opinion one of their very best.

Iam sorry still dont see it even from another angle the tiger is way too small for the figures,it looks like its in 1.35th scale,to my eyes. The figure standing with the scarf confirms the tiger is out of scale,if you look closely, the tiger looks as if it has been shrunk,it looks way smaller than the tunisian tiger from K&C,the tiger and the figures look more in scale with each other, take a look.If someone has both please check one against the other and give us some feedback, that may settle the question.

The Tunisian Tiger is a different model than the Winter Tiger, which was based off of WS 43 if I am not mistaken.

WS 70 is one of THE most sought after vehicles in the entire K & C range, so there you go.

This scale issue has been debated a lot. The early KC Tiger I's are under-scale for 1/30 figures. This includes the winter Tiger. The Tunisian Tiger is correct scale and is larger than the winter Tiger and other early KC Tigers. -- lancer

Does that mean that WS043 is the wrong scale too,the model of the tiger whether it be initial, early, mid or late has no relevance to size ,all tigers were the same size and weight throughout the war.The drivers head on the winter mid version is higher than the top of the mantlet, dont think i have ever seen a photo of such an occurence, yet the radio operators head on the tunisian tiger is way below the top of the mantlet, which is more accurate imo.Hope someone can compare both tigers soon.

Does that mean that WS043 is the wrong scale too..........

No it doesn't as the figures that came with that model are in proportion to the tank, while the figures in WS 70 are newer sculpts and a bit bigger as a result. WS 43 is Wittmans Tiger and is over 4 years old.............and is long retired, as is WS 70, so these scale issues are a non issue.
