I save softcopies (digital files) so that I can compile and print my own catalogs (by series). I can't create a catalog by series from the hardcopies for several reasons, one being that, as in this case, D-Day figures are on the opposite page. Also, newer brochures from K&C don't include retired items. The catalogs I have compiled are more complete, printed on slightly larger and higher quality paper and keep in a sturdy 3 ring binder which is easier to browse through than dozens of individual leaflets and brochures.
Hi Kurt,
What a wonderful idea! Why have I not thought of doing the same thing? Have you scanned any of the pages you have created? I would very much enjoy seeing how you have organized the information in your personal catalogs. Your method might also lend itself to the creation of an interesting inventory. If you are able, please post some samples of your work. I am very interested in seeing it.
Warmest personal regards,
Pat
If you're a member of the Collectors Club, when they announce the availability of a particular release, Fanny sends an email to that effect with an image of the brochure or circular for that particular release.
For example, here is the latest one I received from Fanny.
