Hi Guys,

Gordon just completed this little gem of a diorama / display piece for one of our collectors in Beijing.

The collector remembered seeing one of Gordon's older diorama pieces from a few years back... a 'Ruined French Church' and wanted something similar (but different). This is what he will be receiving.

To show it with figures we created this colourful little scene... with a selection of our Napoleonics.

A good diorama can tell more than one story... So, let's see what tomorrow brings.

Best wishes and happy collecting!

Andy

Lends itself to any number of WW1 & WW11 scenes. A very versatile structure. Robin.

Excellent! Is that a new mounted figure of Napoleon?

Looks like NA237 to me :)

John

No … I think its the same casting as NA237 where he's wearing the uniform of Grenadier of the Imperial Guard or SP089 where he is the statue,
while this mounted figure he is wearing the green lapelled coat of Chasseur of the Imperial guard ……..

VERY Interesting ????????

I think it's the same sculpt, but the figure in the picture appears to be wearing a green tunic, while the NA237 figure is wearing a blue one.

Hi Guys,
Well spotted!
The Napoleon in question is indeed the same sculpt as the previously released NA 237...Which was one our most successful and popular 'Bonaparte' figures ever and was discontinued in 2016...Since then we have received many requests to reissue this particular figure from both collectors and K&C dealers around the globe...So, we returned to the archives , found the original sculpt and painted the new casting in the uniform of a Colonel of Chasseurs...
This latest 'Mounted Emperor' will be released this coming October.
Best wishes and 'Vive l'Empereur!'
Andy.

Agreed, I think Gordon's done a top job creating different levels with the clever use of the walls and ruined chapel, plus the placement of the tree line is very effective. :salute::
