Has anyone besides me wondered why Wittmann in set WS352 is wearing a field grey dress uniform rather than the black or camo panzer tunic?

Hi Vincent,
In answer to your question ...Actually no. You're the first.

Wittman is wearing the lightweight cotton field grey Jacket...for both comfort and practicality...Our Tiger is the one he fought in at Kursk in the middle of a very hot Russian summer hence the light weight jacket.
Best wishes,
Andy.

Okay, makes sense. Thank you for clearing it up, mr. Neilson.

Wittmann First served with a Stug III unit in 1940 - 1941 time frame and was issued the Grey uniform that was issued to Stug crews.
In reality he could have used it again during his time in a Tiger tank.
