Nice photos! Good to see the figures in the same scale as the Tiger! A very realistic diorama.

The TCS Tiger could be considered accurate if the tracks are the narrow transit tracks with the outer road wheels removed! Has anyone calculated the exact scale of this larger than 1/30th Tiger? Looks great with the figures!

Katana,

Curios as to why the wide tracks are not correct ? I thought all Tigers after the first initial production runs had both narrow "Rail Loading" Track and wider operational Track for field use.

Even then the wheels are not accurate. With the outer rooad wheels removed, the first road wheel should not partly cover the sprocket but should be inside and partly covered by the drive spprocket.

I like the pose of the commander figure:salute::....and despite wheel inaccuracies at least it works with 1:28th scale figures......Even Still the wheel problem is a glaring error... something that should "NOT HAPPEN".....Sad because otherwise it looks like a good model.

Each side of the Tiger has 8 axles with 3 road wheels each for a total of 24 road wheels per side. The drive sprocket is partly covered by the first outer road wheel. When the narrow tracks were used, the outermost wheel on each of the 8 axles was removed to fit the narrower track. Removing the outer road wheels uncovered the drive sprocket. The Wittmann Kursk Tiger has had the outer road wheels removed but the drive sprocket is still covered by a road wheel.

The K&C Tiger I also has problems! The gun mantlet is too small. The turret roof at the front extends above the mantlet making the slope of the roof wrong. Honor Bounds Gold Tiger had the turret overhanging the hull hatches in one of two production runs. All of the polystone 1/30 scale Tiger I models have had accuracy issues; with the possible exception of Figarti! As well documented as the TigerI is such errors are unforgivable IMHO.
