Recently there are a lot of talking about K&C Warbirds either in polystone or the expensive wooden ones. From the K&C Picture Book Vol 1 it shows many detailed wooden AFVs like the Tiger, Sherman, etc. Today K&C only produces the polystone AFVs, how about they start making the wooden AFVs again (say 50 of each type) like what they are producing the wooden Warbirds. Though the prices will definitely be expensive, what is your thoughts about this?? And what AFVs do you want K&C to make again if you are interested??

i think price factor plays a big part.
it'll be interesting for sure, but considering the flak Honour Bound (gold edition) and First Legion received for their premium quality (and premium priced) items, i think perhaps we had reached saturation point with regards to pricing.

definitely, just for amusement sake, i'll be preening over curiously to know how a properly carved, scaled and furnished wooden tiger tank would turn out.

I would love to see it, but I think the numbers would have to be limited to more like 20 of each vehicle, like the warbirds.

I own at least one of each of the original wood vehicles, as well as all but one of the new resin and metal prototypes. The painting and weathering of the new prototypes is superior to that of the old wood vehicles (as well as the polystone production vehicles). I would love to see wood vehicles crafted by the same artists that make the wood warbirds, but painted and weathered like the resin and metal prototypes. They would probably cost around $800 like the warbirds, but I think there are enough collectors like me who would rather have 1 really excellent vehicle than 4-6 average vehicles to sell out very limited runs.

I would be interested in wooden vehicles if they were highly detailed like the Conn Warbirds.

Welcome to the forum Chan. I have never bought any wood based toys as I think wood is too unstable over the long term. However I guess that depends on where and how the models are stored and displayed. I live in Queensland and our hot humid climate isn't kind to timber products.
