Dear Matt,
I noticed that the workbench pictures are getting a little thin. Please Sir. could we have some more peeks!!
I understand your point Matt but do you think that someone copying your sculpt is going to hit into your business.I really don't think so because whoever collects your ranges is going to continue.I really don't think they will buy someone else's product.Maybe a new collector trying to decide what to collect might. Now if someone copying your sculpt just pisses you off now that I understand.Isn't it time for one little tiny hint of your next range
Mark
I understand Matt, and it is unfortunate. Deep down I was probably just trying to squeeze in some Napoleonic subjects into the forum. I was being totally selfish and I apologize to the Stalingrad people.
I would like to see the masters of the Brunswickers. It is too bad that you have to play things close to the vest.
No need to apologize to anyone at all and I definitely see your perspective. For whatever reason, even though we've released far more Napoleonics and that is (and will forever remain) our flagship figure range, our WWII range seems to be much more discussed and for whatever reason is very polarizing on this forum which leads to even more debate.

You know Matt I have never thought about the lack of debate over your Napoleonic Range . I think that its just a forgone conclusion that First Legion are making the Best Gebhard

I agree - except I would vote for the samurai as a close second. The three thus far released - and the glimpse on your site header - are stunning and I catch myself studying them every day. I only pray that I have zero interest in your new ranges or I may have to build an addition to expand my man cave.

I agree with you completely mate. But then you probably know that since you were agreeing with me. But as the observation I made disappeared I suppose I am left to agreeing with you. Perhaps your observation will also disappear and we will just be left just scratching our heads in collective wonderment. And so it goes.I think that as long as you are focused on your own style and maintaining, (if not stretching), your own quality standards, then no one can really steal your thunder. This is particularly true when you have collector's who "get" what you're doing. If, on the other hand, you were competing to sell as many figures as possible to an undiscerning market, I could understand the need to guard ideas.
For what it's worth,
Ron
