My World of Dickens figures arrived today. For a long time I wished there was a nonmilitary series I could collect but my wife doesn't like Egyptian stuff and the Streets of Old Hong Kong isn't my cup of tea. But, this World of Dickens series is ideal. I hope this series becomes a big hit for King and Country as I'd love to add a lot more figures and especially facades to my collection. BTW, does anyone know the purpose of the open doorway in the larger facade?

Often there would be an entrance way (ginnel, this term changes depending where you are from in the UK) between shops or row houses to access the back yards/courtyards etc...

with the three girls and the XMass tree for XMass
Love it. Very peaceful setting
Pictures don't justify the facades
Amazing how good they look in front of u
The personages are excellent

Finally getting all of my new Dickens out of their boxes. While setting up the street scene, I found the perfect place for my 20mm Niblett soldiers! King & Country Toys, in my village, now sells them! {sm4}

This is my favorite non-military series also.

Are there any Victorian era soldiers that would fit in with this, like some marching band or something?
