Timely reviews. I have the 2 ACW titles already, though haven't read them yet. Thinking about getting one of the Hannibal books and the My Lai book, as well. -- Al

There are some interesting titles. He's the Times reviewer for military history.

Good reviews across the spectrum of war. Think you will like the Hess book about Peach Tree Creek Al. I thought his Pickett's Charge book, as recommended to me by Bob/UK Reg, the best I have read on the subject. Better even than the Stewart book. :wink2: I just downloaded the Peach Tree Creek book to listen during my drive to work. Chris
