SCI FI Pictures presents the premiere of SS Doomtrooper. During the last days of World War II, a team of Allied soldiers is sent behind enemy lines to destroy a secret Nazi atomic-weapons program. But they soon find that the Nazis aren't making an A-bomb. They're making an army of monster super-soldiers! With time running out, the Allied troops must prevent the Nazis from unleashing a horror that will change the outcome of the war.

What can you say? It's gotta be great.:)

Sometimes SCFI Channel movies are great and sometimes they are not. Their movies run hot or cold and nothing in between. I hope this is on of their good ones. Michael

Looks interesting. The Sci Fi channel movies are usually horrible though, so don't get your hopes up. Would recommend taping or TiVoing to get through those endless commercials.

It could be a pastiche of Hellboy and/or Frankenstein. Or it could be really original. Might be worth a look.

I don't think it was a scifi channel movie, but a few years back there was a movie about a German unit that went to some old Balkan Castle and I believe they were slowly wiped out by Vampires? Can't remember the name but I do remember some very authentic looking vehicles.

Saw the preview last night, looks like a video game and pretty nice eye candy. I will watch it.

That was The Keep.
It was a bit of a hit and miss film based on a book that is much better by F Paul Wilson.

This SS Doomtrooper sounds like the PC game Return to Castle Wolfenstein to me. which isn't a bad thing really. I think you guys are right when you say it could either be good fun or really awful. It's gotta be worth a watch though.

Not sure if it'll reach the UK any time soon though so i'll probably have to miss out on the fun.
