Does Anybody Happen To Know The Production Run Of 023 Or 023a The Normandy Version, Is One Scarcer Than The Other?

I think it was posted awhile ago but I'm not sure of the numbers.

You know there are three different kinds of Panthers: the Summer, Ambush and Winter. The Winter is the rarest, followed by the Ambush (I believe).

I believe CannonFodder1971 has all this info on the WS23.

Has anyone published the production runs of this - and the other models? Will it be in Louis' book? It would be fascinating.

I dug up an old thread that had production runs. Some time ago, Andy told me that he had produced 400 each of the Summer and Ambush Panther.

I didn't have exact figures on the Winter Panther but I believe it was in the 200 range.

Thanks Brad. I heard it was 100 old winter tigers, how many of the old winter kubels, stugs , pak40 etc, do you know? Best wishes Kevin

Quite frankly guys, on most of the polystone vehicles, I have no idea of the production runs. What I am doing in the draft of Chapter 6 on polystone vehicles is leaving a blank for production numbers on each vehicle description. I intend on picking Gordon Neilson's brain about the production runs, and then filling in the blanks. BY the way, I am up through 2003, and still have half the chapter to write. Boy has Andy been prolific lately.

Kevin,

The numbers, per Andy, are as follows:

Tiger 100

Stug, Hanomag and 88 200

Kubelwagen 100

Figure sets Between 300 and 400 (not more than 500 he estimates)

My guess is that Andy got these from Gordon.
