WS06 Motorcycle with sidecar (1 Viewer)

I have a recon question in regards to this set.I have seen this set in the LAH and the winter series but I have also seen this set in two variations for the summer.One had the soldiers in Grenadier uniforms(all grey) and the one I have has the soldiers in Waffen pea camo smocks.Anyone,anyone??The only brochures I have show the Waffen SS set.

I'm not sure what you're asking. The Sagers site has pictures of it in gray (and this is on ebay right now) as well as the cameo.

The one listed on ebay is a glossy finish I believe and is without the sidecar.Their must be two variations of summer sidecar sets.Did the grey set come out first and what series was it released in?Obviously the one I have was released with the Waffen series.I am inquiring about the other.

Andy originally did WS06 in 1993 with a glossy dark green sidecar cycle and glossy gray uniformed soldiers. This was very similar to the glossy dispatch rider on ebay (WS03) which was released at the same time or a little earlier. Later, the side car cycle was re-released in the same paint scheme but matt, as well as matt with figures with the Waffen SS summer camo (around 1996). In September, 1997, the set was repainted and released as an Afrika Corps set (AK08, if I remember correctly). Then it was again repainted as a winter set in 1998-1999. Of course, the set was also released in 1993 or so in glossy black for the LAH series, and in matt black around 1999-2000. I think that covers all the permutations of the K&C Sidecar Cycle.

That was my bad, on reviewing the old catalogue, I saw that the matt Waffen SS sidecar cycle (both with gray uniforms and camo) always had camo on the bike, not the dark green paint scheme like the glossy version. The only solid (non-camo) paint schemes in matt are the Afrika Corps (Tan), Winter (White) and LAH (black). Sorry about that, and welcome to the board.
