Guys ,I promised you the story behind the WS117 picture and some more photos . Well here it is :
The 8th para bat arrived in the village Bures-sur-Dives not far from Varaville in the Calvados/Normandy on the 6th of june. Their mission:destroy the bridges over the river Divette.To make this dio I used figures from K&C and TG. It shows that they mix together well.
The paras have captured a German officer in front of a metal work shop. Their left flank is well protected by a sniper and two more paras who look very determined.
But danger is coming from within the building. 2 German soldiers on the ground floor are preparing a surprise attack with some grenades.Also the captured German officer has a surprise for them( look at the back of his leather coat)
All figures have been completely or partly repainted and the whole interior of the workshop ( ground and first floor) is self made. I add a few more pictures for your enjoyment
