Well good for you! Some of the members are no doubt horrified that you

would even consider selling something! But I think you have the right idea!

Pick up some pieces, enjoy them, then pass some off to another collector,

and let your collection fund itself.

Even a millionare didn't get that way by not being careful with all their

investments.

Hey Louis, I also got one of the winter Shermans and got it from Tony. Actually when he offerred it to me about 3 years ago I almost passed on it.

Of the 2 Winter pieces I got on eBay I actually logged in to the Treefrog Forum at the time to see if there was anyone awake (timezones and all that). I think one or two other people got WS(w) from that particular occasion.
Overall though I think that $1,145 for the 88 is dizzying: Andy revisits themes regularly and I wouldn't be surprised if we were to see it re-appear in 2 years' time.

Brad next time you speak to him, if possible ask him the numbers of the

panther series, original, winter, and ambush. The question of production of

these pieces always seems to come up, yet I have never heard a definitive

number.

The 88 was a very desirable piece, but way out of my range I didn't even attempt to get into the fray. I hope we do see another 88 or large gun with a dio base in the future. The new Afrika Korps gun looks very promising for a repaint in grey or whitewash.

I actually asked Andy about this yesterday and he said he wasn't going to do one for the foreseeable future. He said they're very hard to build. Hope he changes his mind though.
