Could someone please tell me if this Is this a rare piece, how many of this piece were made?

I think any of the early stuff is pretty hard to come by now, but I believe the gloss version is one of the rarer sets. Couldn't tell you about numbers (not even Louis and Kevins book mentions numbers for this set).

You don't see too many of them period, gloss or matte (I have both) so if you're interested and wish to spend the cash, I suppose I'd bid.
