Hi all,

in cooperation with team miniatures I can proudly present my first own figure.
Matches very well with First Legion.

best regards from Germany

Thank you Gebhard,

as a 8 year old boy a played a game of cards. My favorite card was the "wurttemberg leibgardejaeger" ...that is long ago.
Since I am a dealer for toy soldiers (I started 2008) I was waiting for any mounted Wurttemberg made by the big players (K&C,FL...)
but nothing came, so I decided to make my favorite "child dream" figure under my own direction...

Glad, that you like it. It matches very well with FL. I think you can even match it with K&C.

Hopefully some producers will discover Wurttemberg, it is my home area ^&grin

What a wonderful back story, I'm really happy for you I also checked your site and the price isn't too bad either may have to get one :wink2:. The sculpting and painting style look very reminiscent of K&C. regards Gebhard

Marcus,

That's a very nice figure- congratulations! That is just so cool that you have produced your own figure with TM.
You must be so excited!
Cheers,
Joe

Thanks again and yes, style is like K&C, as all of the team miniatures (in my eyes at least).
There were made only 35 pieces ( and some of them I need for my own collection ^&grin).

Joe, it was somehow like Christmas last week for me, when I got the parcel with my "babies ".
I mean I worked for several months for the research. The exact uniforms are hard to find....The team miniatures guys did it well also, so all in all I am a happy man now ^&grin:wink2::smile2:

Schön, schön, schön, Hadrian! Gut modelliert!

Did you do the horse, too?

We need to get you to do some other time periods, too. A Bückeburger Karabinier would be nice ;)

Prost!

I had the idea, I made the research for the regiment, the uniforms, equipment and the final check, the sculpting and painting was made by team miniatures.
At the moment I have to focus on selling this figure...it is very expensive to make things like that...
Should it be a success, I would like to add more Wurttemberg Napoleonics, as it is my home contry {sm4} and as there are not so many other figures out yet.

Ah, OK, I misunderstood your post to mean you sculpted the figure, too.

Prost!
Brad

Nice figure Marcus I hope it sells well for you. I know you have wanted to do this for a long time. Good luck

Iwan, thank you very much for your kind words and good wishes.
Hopefully you can sell a lot of your fine cold steel figures this year - maybe in Germany´s best show KULMBACH in August !!
Try it- I think you will be rewarded (at least with a lovely German city, fine bavarian beer and cheap fine bavarian food ^&grin:wink2:)

It is hard to develop a new product and to sell enough to re-finannce the next project...

Your courage was one of my inspiration to make this step...
